Coda officially becomes Superhuman Docs as the Grammarly suite consolidates

Coda is now Superhuman Docs. On 8 July 2026 the collaborative-document tool completed its move into the Superhuman product suite, the umbrella created when Grammarly’s parent company rebranded as Superhuman in October 2025 and pulled Grammarly, Coda and Superhuman Mail under one name.

The rename arrives with new capabilities rather than just a new logo. Superhuman announced Docs AI, an assistant embedded in the document with context on what a team has built; Docs MCP, which connects documents to external AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor so a doc stays the single source of truth; plus closed betas for AI Views and Superhuman Databases, the latter supporting up to a million rows.

Crucially for existing users, the company says nothing breaks. Coda documents, workflows and plans carry over unchanged, pricing stays the same, and old Coda links now redirect to docs.superhuman.com automatically.

Why it matters: it is another step in folding several well-known productivity brands — including Grammarly — into a single AI-first suite. What to watch next: whether the Grammarly writing tool takes on the Superhuman name too, and how quickly the AI features leave beta.
